Beef Pasta with Spinach, Tomato and Carrot

This is a delicious medley of protein, carb and colorful vegetables. Make a delicious pasta for yourself and your baby. If your baby is still consuming pureed food, make their portion in a small pot or even pressure cooker and puree in the blender or Nutri bullet. Enjoy family meals together.

Make your pasta by adding some pasta sauce and sun dried tomatoes, chopped garlic and onion, top it off with some oregano and mozzarella/ parmesan cheese.

Follow the recipe to make the same delicious and nutritious combo as a baby food –

Ingredients:
  • Beef – 1/3 cup, cut in small cubes, washed
  • Penne Pasta – about 1/3 cup, uncooked
  • Spinach – 1 cup, washed (for convenience I always get pre washed spinach)
  • Tomato – 1, washed, cored and cut into halves
  • Carrot – 1, peeled, washed and cut into medium cubes
  • Salt – a pinch
  • Garlic – 1 small clove

  • Cover and cook over medium heat for 3-4 whistles or until the vegetables are tender and the beef completely cooks (about 20-25 minutes on low heat for saucepan).
  • Let them cool down completely then make the puree. Puree using a blender or Nutri bullet
  • Serve for lunch or dinner and let them enjoy the goodness. You can keep the puree for 1- 2 days in the fridge.
