Beef, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes with Garlic Puree

This amazing baby food puree was inspired by our own dinner! When I made a skillet stir-fry for us with Beef, Broccoli, Sweet Potatoes, Garlic, Onion and spices, I realized that I can prepare the same dinner for baby Prisha minus the spices and sauté part. She eats fruits, bread etc. as finger foods but she will need more than 6 teeth to chew meat. So I am still pureeing all the meats for her. This also gives me a chance to add some more milk in her diet because I can make the purees with milk instead of water. This puree is delicious and nutritious and can be kept in the fridge for 1-2 days. Mamas give this a try!

And while you are at it, don’t forget to make the same dinner for yourself. Add some red onion, red bell peppers (the bottled roasted ones taste great too), a hint of chili powder, ground cumin powder with salt and pepper.

Ingredients:
  • Beef – 1/3 cup, cut in small cubes, washed
  • Broccoli – 1 cup, thick stems removed, cut in medium pieces
  • Sweet Potatoes – 1 cup, peeled, washed, cut in medium cubes
